History of Our School:
The Merritt Island school was purchased by its current owner, Jacquilyn Eusanio, in 1986. The school was known then as Advanced & Basic Hair Design Training Center. The owner started the corporation, Sheer Success, Inc., in January, 1987, of which Ms. Eusanio is the president. The school operated as Advanced & Basic Hair Design Training Center until January, 2005, and then changed its name to Academy of Cosmetology.
The Palm Bay school was purchased by its current owner, Jacquilyn Eusanio, in 2001. The school was known then as Darlyne McGee's Academy of Cosmetology. The school operated as Darlyne McGee's Academy of Cosmetology until January, 2005, and then changed its name to Academy of Cosmetology-Palm Bay.
Facilities
The decor of Academy of Cosmetology-Merritt Island, Florida, is sophisticated and contemporary. It is fully equipped and accommodates twenty-eight working stations, a reception area, a classroom, a facial area, a dispensary, a supply room, a waiting room, a student lounge, a library (available for students and faculty), offices, spa facilities and restroom facilities. A satellite classroom has been added at 2094 N. Courtenay Parkway.
The decor of Academy of Cosmetology-Palm Bay, Palm Bay, Florida, is sophisticated and contemporary, it is fully equipped and accommodates thirty-two working stations, a reception area, a classroom, a facial area, a dispensary, a supply room, a waiting room, a student lounge, offices, and restroom facilities, all consisting of 5,000 square feet.
While the Academy of Cosmetology-Palm Bay has always offered classes in massage and massage therapy, the Academy of Cosmetology-Merritt Island now offers these classes as well. Having massage therapy available at both schools has made it more convenient for our students.
